A magical venue, a balmy California moonlit night
A concert at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga- t’was a sheer delight!
CCR played there this last weekend evoking warm memories and impressions
Of barsaatis in Delhi, the rains, playing music with friends and jam sessions
Hold your breath! They played “Proud Mary”,”Bad Moon Rising” and “Suzie Q”
While “Heard it through the grapevine” was the one song evvverybody knew
The band was cool and very fun; the atmosphere was magnetic
When they sang “Have you ever seen the rain”, the audience was near frenetic….
We sat in the front row, a first for us- thanks to a last minute unbelievable deal from Craigs list
CCR are a genius as is Craig of the List- I do insist.
