Rangoli and Diwali are synonymous. The most common practice is to make Rangoli at the main entrance of the home, inviting Goddess Lakshmi for year round prosperity and wealth. However, if you like, you can make a cardboard rangoli to hang up on a door or walls! If you are in the mood to sit around for quite a long time you can do it on the outside floor.
Floor Rangoli:
To make floor rangoli you can use all sorts of things to be creative, but the most common are chalk and colored powder. Make any design to express your feelings.
Wall or door rangoli:
To make wall or door rangoli, you need cardboard and design with markers, crayons, paint, or colored pencils. You can also use stickers and other ornaments.
