My nani ( my mother’s mother ) tought me and my brother how to knit. She had learned to knit from her grandmother. She was visiting one summer, from Mumbai, and I saw her knitting and asked if I could try. So, we rushed to the store, more specifically Joann’s Fabrics, and got knitting needles and yarn. I started right away and have been knitting ever since. It is such a coincidence that is was passed from grandmother to grandchild, from grandmother to grandchild. I have started to knit a blanket, but much more than what is in the picture. Knitting is a great pass time if you are bored, or have nothing to do.
