Point Lobos State Reserve

January 23rd, 2010

I went to Point Lobos State Reserve January 23, 2010. It is by the Pacific Ocean in Carmel. We saw sea lions, sea otters, harbor seals, whales, and we even got to climb up an actual rock wall!  We also went to China Cove and a delicious restaurant called A.W Shucks. We had great food and a great time near the water!!

ChinaCove A.WShucks We didn’t really splash around a lot, but we got little spritzes of water because the water was very high. We didn’t get on a boat to see the whales, we just saw little spouts of water and maybe a tip of the fin, because the whales were migrating towards Baja, California to have babies.
