The colorful celebration of Holi is at the end of this month! Holi is the festival that carries India into the bright days of summer. There is a feeling of plenty in the air – crops have been harvested, and stored or sold. The farmer finally rests and money is at hand. Holi falls on the full moon, in the month of Phalgun, which spans the end of February and the beginning of March: spring is finally in the air! Holi also celebrates the victory of good over evil, symbolised in the story of Prahlad, which we will tell you over the coming weeks, the young boy who overcame evil and tyranny, by his unflinching faith in Lord Vishnu.
