I really enjoyed all the flavor components–works very well with fish, plus the lemon zest and lemon juice added a nice element of brightness. I made a couple of slight modifications. I added a bit of chicken stock to add another layer of depth. Plus it helped to de-glaze the pan even more after the onions and ginger got a bit caramelized. I also made a batch of breaded and deep fried fish fillets and I put this sauce on top. That worked out pretty well too!
